The Romanian based automaker Dacia is taking is getting ready for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, when the newest model in its lineup, the Lodgy, will be officially presented to the public. But that’s not all Dacia is getting ready for and with the Lodgy being scheduled to be launched in Europe in April this year and in Romania in June, the model has been recently caught on camera while being tested on the Romanian public roads. We must thank the guys from autolatest.ro for these images and videos.
As a reminder, the Dacia Lodgy will come in two versions, with five and seven seats, and even if the Logan MCV is also available with an extra row of seats, the Lodgy is 30 mm longer than its brother, also offering more space in the back. The Dacia Lodgy is 4.5 meters long and it will be targeted on customers with large families, but the model won’t go against the Renault Scenic. There’s no official word on its engines yet but upgraded units from the Duster, meeting the Euro 5 emission standards, might be in the books.
