The most powerful Dacia Logan ever, the STCC, has received a video presentation, where the impressive racer is being shown in action.
The Dacia Logan STCC has nothing to do with the regular version of the sedan because it’s actually mimicking the looks of the model, but the technical platform used for the race car is totally different than the one used in the Mioveni plant, for the street legal Logan. The Dacia Logan STCC Edition is a new entry to the STCC championship in Sweden, and it’s registered in the competition by Dacia Dealer Team.
Even if technically there is no resemblance between the Dacia Logan STCC Edition and the regular version of the model, the race car is adopting the same front fascia as the street legal Logan, along with the name of the Romanian car brand. According to the Swedish officials, the model is powered by a 3.5 liter mid-mounted engine, which is producing more than 400 BHP (298 kW), mated to a six-speed sequential transmission. The 1,000 kg (2,204 lbs) racer can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3 seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 270 km/h (168 mph). You can check out the Dacia Logan STCC in action below.
