A walkaround video with the brand new Datsun GO has recently made its way onto the web.
After it was officially unveiled just a day before writing this article, the brand new Datsun GO is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a video. The footage posted below is showing the model on a turntable and it has been signed by the guys at Indian Autos Blog.
As a quick reminder, the Datsun GO represents the first model after the brand has been resurrected. The GO is based on the Nissan Micra and its name is coming from the company’s first model, unveiled back in 1914, the DAT-GO. Its exterior design is similar to the one of the Micra and in the cabin we can see the gearshift and handbrake levers moved closer to the dashboard, in an attempt to free some space between the front seats.
The new Datsun GO is also getting the same door handles and AC vents from the Nissan Micra and under the dashboard, where the glovebox should have been, we can see a free space. The model in question is only getting a 1.2 liter unit under its hood, mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Datsun GO is 3,785 mm long, 1,635 mm wide and 1,485 mm tall, riding on a 2,450 mm long wheelbase.
