The famous American film director, producer and screenwriter, Michael Mann, has recently bought himself a new ride, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
Michael Mann is mostly known for movies like “The Last of the Mohicans” and “Heat”, but his love for cars is the news here, because the director has recently bought himself a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Michael Mann is already the proud owner of a 599 GTB Fiorando and a 599 GTO, so it was only a matter of time before getting himself the newest Ferrari supercar, the F12 Berlinetta.
“You are so closely in tune with the car you feel the same connection as you have with the camera when you’re shooting a scene. The same concentration, the same emotion”, said Michael Mann after driving the Fiorano track in the new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
For those of you who don’t know what the F12 Berlinetta is we will tell you that it’s the fastest Ferrari ever build and it’s powered by a 6,262 cc B12 engine, which is producing a total output of 730 horsepower and 509 lb-ft of torque (690 Nm). The Italian supercar is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The F12 Berlinetta is the official replacement for the 599 GTB.
