Either way, you have come to the right place, because the guys from Drive Magazine have recently taken the company’s most powerful production vehicle ever for a quick spin.
The Porsche 918 Spyder has a 4.6 liter V8 engine under its hood, with 608 HP (453 lb-ft), backed up by another two electric motors, adding 279 HP (208 kW). The total output of the supercar stands at 887 HP (661 kW). The assembly is connected to a 7-speed PDK dual clutch transmission, sending power to the all-wheel drive system. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 2.6 seconds, motorcycle time, and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph), the supercar needs just 7.2 seconds. Top speed stands at approximately 345 km/h (214 mph). The 918 Spyder has been introduced during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in its final production form.
