The latest crash test session performed by Euro NCAP is starring the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron and the Jeep Renegade, as both vehicles have managed to score a maximum 5 stars rating.
The Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is proving to be a good choice when it comes to new “green” vehicles as the model in question is also safe. Euro NCAP has recently rated the vehicle with a 5-star safety rating, after scoring 82 percent in Adult Occupant, 78 percent in Child Occupant, 66 percent in Pedestrian and 68 percent in Safety Assist. The only “Marginal” rating has been given to the torso in the side pole impact, while in the other tests the vehicle performed well. The tested car was an A3 Sportback e-tron 1.4 TFSI 5-door.
The second vehicle to get a full 5-star safety rating from Euro NCAP was the Jeep Renegade. The small crossover managed to score 87 percent in Adult Occupant, 85 percent in Child Occupant, 65 percent in Pedestrian and 74 percent in Safety Assist. The only “Marginal” rating has been given to the neck in the front and rear whiplash protection. The tested model was a 1.6 liter diesel Limited Jeep Renegade.
