The Renault Zoe has recently received a 5-star rating during the latest EuroNCAP crash tests.
According to the safety specialists at EuroNCAP, the Renault Zoe has been crash tested recently and the “green” French hatchback has received an overall 5-star rating. The model in question has managed to achieve an 89 percent in adult occupant protection, 80 percent in child occupant, 66 percent in pedestrian safety and 85 percent in safety assist. The model tested was made in 2013 and it weighs 1,468 kg.
The Renault Zoe has seen a “good” adult occupant protect in frontal impact, except for the driver’s chest, which was rated as “adequate”, a “weak” ad “adequate” rating in the side pole impact, a “good” rating for the car impact and a “marginal” rating for the rear impact in neck protection.
As a quick reminder, the Renault Zoe is being powered by a synchronous electric motor which is producing a total output of 88 HP (65 kW) and it has a peak torque of 220 Nm (162 lb-ft). The model can reach a top speed of 84 km/h and prices for it have been set at 14,444 GBP. The Renault Zoe is coming with features such as the R-Link multimedia tablet, automatic climate control, battery charger and more.
