The very first presentation video with the European version of the Ford EcoSport has been recently released, ahead of the model’s debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After we have met the European version of the Ford EcoSport just a day before writing this article, the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of its first presentation video. The Ford EcoSport is 4.24 meters long, 1.6 meters tall and it’s offering 322 liters of cargo space with the rear seats up or 705 liters with the rear seats folded.
The Ford EcoSport will get a 1.0 liter EcoBoost engine under its hood, with 100 HP or 125 HP, a 110 HP 1.5 liter petrol and a 90 HP 1.5 liter diesel. The model will receive standard items such a the SYNC, the ESP, six airbags and more. The Ford EcoSport is a B-segment crossover, based on the Ford Fiesta, which will go on sale across the Old Continent in the second half of 2013. The model is a direct rival for the Peugeot 2008, the Nissan Juke or the Opel Mokka. Additional details on the Ford EcoSport will be announced during the Swiss automotive event.
