The brand new McLaren 650S is the subject of a new video signed by EVO, as the guys have taken a closer look to the brand new British supercar.
Originally unveiled just a few days ago, for the very first time, the McLaren 650S is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, which is signed by EVO, and in which the guys are taking a closer to at it. The new McLaren 650S is soothing and quieter than the MP4-12C, but besides being better in every single chapter, it still doesn’t look as good as the outgoing model, mostly because its front fascia is copied from the P1 and the rear end from the MP4-12C.
The supercar has received door blades, behind the front wheels, and this are helping it generate more downforce. In fact, the new model will get 24 percent of downforce at 150 mph (241 km/h) compared to the outgoing MP4-12C. The name of the McLaren 650S is coming from its power, 650 HP (478 kW), taken from an updated version of the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, and the “S” stands for “Sport”. More details on the 650S will be announced during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, when it will be presented to the public.
