The guys at Evo Magazine have recently had the chance to go around in an impressive Audi S1 and their impressions on the small and fast car can be seen in the video posted below.
After being officially unveiled at the beginning of this year, the Audi S1 is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of the guys at Evo Magazine, who have recently had the chance to go around in the small vehicle. The model was tested out by Henry Catchpole on some snow covered roads in Sweden and then it was taken on dry tarmac. The conclusion is that the S1 is in a class of its own.
As you probably remember, the Audi S1 is the most powerful model in the A1 lineup. The model in question is taking its power from a 2.0 liter TFSI four-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 231 HP (170 kW) and it has a peak torque of 370 Nm (273 lb-ft). This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 5.8 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The S1 will reach dealerships across the Old Continent in the second quarter of 2014.
Audi has also showcased its laser headlights equipped R8 LMX at the Paris Motor Show, a model mostly famous for the war with BMW that started when both companies claimed they had the first such vehicle on the market.
