The driver of a Ferrari 348 Spider has managed to crash his ride while showing off and the whole incident has been caught on camera.
Supercar crashes seem to happen more and more often these days and the newest example has been even caught on camera. The clip posted below is showing us how the driver of the impressive model was trying to show off, in front of the blonde lady passenger and the guys filming, when he lost control of the wheel and hit a wall. The damages weren’t so severe but we can see the airbags being deployed so the service bill will definitely not be cheap.
The Ferrari 348 has been produced between 1989 and 1995 in 8,844 units, in Maranello, Italy, being designed by Pininfarina. The model in question was being offered in three body styles, Berlinetta, Targa and Spider and it has a rear mid-engine and a rear-wheel drive layout. The supercar was taking its power from a 3.4 liter V8 engine which was producing a total of 320 HP (239 kW) at 7,200 rpm in the GTB, GTS and Spider, and 324 Nm (238 lb-ft) of torque at 5,000 rpm. The unit was connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint took 5.4 seconds. The 348 was replaced by the F355.
