A Ferrari 458 Challenge has been recently filmed in action on a mountain road in Romania where it managed to attract a lot of attention.
A recent Romanian hill climb event has seen a Ferrari 458 Challenge unleashed on the mountain road. The model in question has been driven fast and in an era where everyone has a mobile phone with a camera, it didn’t take too long until the video made its way onto the web. The Ferrari 458 Challenge has been officially presented to the public back in 2010 and it used to be the hottest version of the popular rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive supercar, until the Maranello based automaker has decided to introduce the 458 Speciale. The model in question is powered by the same 4.5 liter V8 engine, which is rated at 570 HP, available at 9,000 rpm. The model has heavily modified gear ratios to provide more torque at lower revs and an E-Diff electronic differential. It has also received a weight reduction.
