The driver of a Ferrari 458 Italia has managed to crash his ride recently into a minivan, and the whole incident has been captured on camera.
Another addition into our Car Crashes category is bringing a Ferrari 458 Italia forward. The white-finished exotic model has been captured on camera while speeding and not being able to avoid a minivan. The impact can be seen in the video posted below but happily no one seems to have been injured in this crash, which is more than we can say about the driver’s ego.
Ferrari has been producing the 458 between 2009 and 2015 and the supercar has been recently replaced by the 488 GTB. The model in question was offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster, the 458 Italia and 458 Spider, and it was officially unveiled during the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The length of the exotic ride is 4,527 mm, the width stands at 1,937 mm and the height is 1,213 kg. The 1,485 kg weighing supercar is making use of a 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, which is capable of sending a total of 562 HP (419 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, available at 6,000 rpm, to the rear-wheel drive, through a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs 3.0 seconds and top speed stands at 325 km/h (202 mph).
