Weird people commit weird things everyday but most of them get on with it because, for instance, they don’t drive a 250k supercar like the guy in this news, who ended up in the media after his stupid act. A policeman, who was writing a ticket for illegal parking of a Ferrari 458 Italia in New York, had the incident of his life with the owner of the supercar who entered his vehicle and proceeded to drive over the cop’s foot who immediately pulled the driver out and arrested him, also causing some damages to the Italian supercar in the process. You can watch the whole incident below.
As a small reminder, the Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engined sports car which is replacing the old Ferrari F430. The 458 Italia was officially presented to the public back in 2009, at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine, also shared with Maserati, which is producing a total output of 562 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 540 Nm available at 6,000 rpm. 80 percent of its torque is available from 3,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the Ferrari 458 Italia has been designed by Pininfarina.
