Ferrari has released yet another teaser video with the replacement of the current 458, the 458 M.
The brand new Ferrari 458 M is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of yet another video, which is showing the supercar accelerating on tight roads in the night. The new supercar is expected to be following the same path as the California and the California T which means that it wouldn’t be a completely new ride but more of a significant facelift.
The successor of the current Ferrari 458 Italia will be the same supercar underneath its body but the exterior design should be significantly different compared to the current one and the interior will be updated too. The vehicle will be getting an evolutionary looks which will be making it instantly recognizable as a 458.
The most significant part of these upgrades will be found under its hood, where the current 4.5 liter V8 engine will be dropped in favor of a brand new 3.8 liter twin turbo V8, which is expected to produce a total output of 666 HP (497 kW) and 745 Nm (550 lb-ft) of torque. This should be allowing the 458 M to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 3 seconds. Power will be sent to the rear-wheel drive through an updated 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. More details on the new Ferrari 458 M are limited at this time and will be announced during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in March, when it is believed to be unveiled.
