The Ferrari 458 Speciale is taking its power from the same engine found on the 458 Italia and 458 Spider, the 4.5 liter V8, which is producing a total output of 597 HP and it has a peak torque of 398 lb-ft). The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 3.0 seconds. One of the most important features found on the supercar is the Slip Angle Control system, which is constantly analyzing the slip angle and it’s comparing it to some target values, optimizing the torque distribution between the rear wheels. The 458 Speciale is the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge and the F430 Scuderia.
