Well, it’s obvious who the winner is but you will be surprised to find out by how much!
Talking about a drag race between a Ferrari LaFerrari and a 458 Speciale will always attract a lot of petrol heads and this has been recently done and even captured on camera. The clip posted below is showing us how the two exotic rides went up one against each other. We won’t be spoilers and tell you which one is the winner because it is pretty obvious but you will be surprised to see the difference between the two.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale has been shown back in 2013, at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge and F430 Scuderia and it has been based on the regular 458 Italia. The same 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine is found under its hood but this has been upgraded to 605 HP (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 3 seconds. The LaFerrari on the on the hand is an exotic hybrid hypercar, shown in the same year, at the Geneva Motor Show. This has a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood and an electric motor developed in-house, producing a total output of 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. This needs less than 3 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go up to 350 km/h (217 mph).
