[VIDEO] Ferrari 458 Spider official video released

The convertible version of the Ferrari 458 Italia, the 458 Spider, has been officially presented at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show and the Maranello based automaker has already announced details like the performance or its price, but now the Italian manufacturer is once again hitting the news after releasing an official video of the company’s fastest convertible yet.

The magnificent Ferrari 458 Spider is equipped with a 4.5 liter V8 engine, generating a total output of 570 horsepower at 9.000 rpm and a peak torque of 398 lb-ft available at 6.000 rpm, mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed F1 transmission. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration takes just 3.4 seconds and the Spider can hit a top speed of 198 mph, compared to the Italia’s 200 mph.

Ferrari has also announced that its new 458 Spider will be available on the over-seas auto market starting from next year, where the Americans will have to pay 257.000 USD before they will be able to get their hands on the supercar.
