A video starring a Ferrari 458 Spider is showing the impressive supercar roaring its engine on the streets of Monaco.
Despite being introduced a few years back, the Ferrari 458 Spider is still one of the most appreciated drop-tops in its segment so when a video showing the model roaring its engine through the streets of Monaco pops onto the web, it simply cannot be ignored. As a small tip, don’t forget to plug in your headphones before clicking the play button on the video posted below.
Ferrari has officially pulled the wraps off the 458 during the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, as a successor to the old F430. The model is coming in two body styles, 458 Italia (Coupe) and 458 Spider (Roadster), with the drop-top being introduced in 2011, at the same automotive event. This has an aluminum retractable hardtop which is 25 kg lighter than the soft roof of its predecessor. From 0 to 100 km/h, the 458 Spider has the same time as its solid roof brother but the top speed has been lowered to “just” 320 km/h (199 mph). The same 4.5 liter V8 engine is found under its hood.
