A Ferrari 458 Spider owner has decided to do something different to his ride in order to stand out from a crowd in London.
Making your ride visible in London is extremely hard if it isn’t a Bugatti Veyron, a Pagani Huayra, a Porsche 918 Spyder, a McLaren P1 or a Ferrari LaFerrari and in order to make his ride stand out from a crowd, this 458 Spider owner has made something different to his “baby”. “Different” doesn’t exactly mean “beautiful” because the ride looks like it should belong somewhere in the Middle East, drifting on public roads at 250 km/h.
Ferrari has unveiled the 458 Spider back in 2011, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. This has a retractable hardtop which weights 25 kg less than the one of its predecessor, the F430 Spider. This can be retracted in 14 seconds. Ferrari says that the 458 Spider has the same 4.5 liter V8 engine under its hood as the 458 Italia, rated at 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is made in the same time as its solid roof brother and the top speed has been lowered to “just” 320 km/h (199 mph).
