Ferrari fans from all over the world, gather around, grab a chair and check out the video posted below because it is showing a new 488 GTB in action. The clip is revealing the insane acceleration of the new Italian supercar and it is also revealing its flame spitting exhaust. Keep in mind that this particular supercar hasn’t been modified and its exhaust system is stock.
Ferrari has introduced the new 488 GTB earlier this year, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This is nothing more than a facelifted version of the 458 Italia which is bringing aerodynamic enhancements, larger air intakes, a new design for the LED taillights, a new diffuser, a new wider front spoiler and some extra goodies. The most important change is found under its hood where the 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine has been dropped in favor of a new 3.9 liter twin turbo V8. The new unit is rated at 670 HP (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque and it is sending the output to the rear-wheel drive through a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the Ferrari 488 GTB needs just 3 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). A roadster version, the 488 Spider, has been unveiled recently and it will debut in Frankfurt, this September.
