A black finished example of the newest supercar made in Maranello, the Ferrari 488 GTB, has been caught on camera recently while it was being driven in Germany.
After we have seen it at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, back in March, in a world premiere, the Ferrari 488 GTB has started being highlighted with the help of some videos and the newest one to hit the web is showing it being driven on the streets of Dusseldorf, Germany. This particular model has a black finish on its body and it is believed to be the world’s first customer delivered one. Its black paint scheme is being contrasted by a set of silver twin five-spoke wheels.
Under its hood, we can find the same 3.9 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is also used on other models. The unit is coming as a replacement for the old 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine of the 458 range, and it is capable of producing a total output of 670 HP (493 kW), with a peak torque of 760 Nm (560 lb-ft). Power is being sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the supercar needs just 3 seconds and it can go up to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). The Ferrari 488 GTB has replaced the 458 and it has some aerodynamic improvements on its exterior design along with a fresh cabin.
