An official video with the facelifted version of the Ferrari California hitting the road has just been released by the Italian based supercar manufacturer.
After the 2013 Ferrari California has been officially presented to the public during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the supercar is once again placed into the spotlights, this time with the company releasing a new official video with the model hitting the roads. As a small reminder, the updated Ferrari California has an upgraded chassis and its weight has dropped by 30 kg (66 lbs), compared to the model it’s replacing, thanks to aluminum fabrication techniques. The 2013 California is also offered with the new Handling Speciale Package, which is coming with improved magnetorheological dampers, stiffer springs and a quicker steering ratio.
Under the hood, the 2013 Ferrari California is coming with an upgraded 4.3 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 483 HP and it has a peak torque of 505 Nm (372 lb-ft), 30 horsepower and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) more than the current version. The facelifted Ferrari California is now able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the model it’s replacing.
