Developed and created by Ferrari Middle East and Africa specifically for the regional market, the California T Deserto Rosso has been previously presented to the entire world.
Now the regional division of Ferrari Middle East and Africa has decided to follow up with another clip in the same vein – footage took during the first California T owner’s meeting that took place over the span of a weekend. This was an exclusive event as it was only attended by a “handpicked selection” of Ferrari owners and connoisseurs who were invited to have a taste of the Arabian Desert glory and also enjoy some relaxing events during private parties. Ferrari of course claims the event was hugely successful as it “paid tribute to one of the most successful Ferrari models ever and its proud customers.” The Deserto Rosso experience, according to the company, offered an immersive experience into the “unique characteristics” of the California T.
Just as a quick reminder, the California T has been introduced to the worldwide audience during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and it brought the first turbocharged powertrain to the Prancing Horse brand as it uses a turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 engine that churns out 560 horsepower and 557 pound-feet of torque. It has been linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that helps the convertible reach 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 196 mph.
