A Ferrari F12 Berlinetta supercar has been recently placed against an Airbus A320 in Malta in order to raise funds for a charity.
The video posted below is showing a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta racing an Airbus A320 for charity at the Malta International Airport. Funds raised will be donated to the Paqpali Ghall-Istrina charity and, even if the footage looks brand new, it was actually shot back in December, 2012. The Italian supercar was driven by Christopher Sultana and the Airbus A320 was piloted by Patrick Calleja, assisted by Alan Farrugia and Mark Attard. They managed to raise a total of 178,820 euros.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is powered by a 6.3 liter V12 engine which is developing a total output of 730 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 509 lb-ft, out of which 80 percent is available from only 2,500 rpm. Ferrari is saying that the F12 Berlinetta can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and the 0 to 200 km/h acceleration takes 8.5 seconds. The model can reach a top speed of 340 km/h. Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
