Another spy video with the upcoming range-topping version of the Ferrari F12 is showing us the model on the public roads in Maranello, while it was being tested out.
Rumors on Ferrari planning to introduce yet another version of the F12 in the near future have been around for a few months now and since then, we have seen several pre-production versions of the supercar. This particular model, which is wearing some mild camouflage on its body, has been spotted testing in Maranello and, despite being a place in which people are used to seeing exotic vehicles all of the time, it still managed to attract some attention and, best of all, a camera lens pointed towards it.
The supercar in question is believed to be called either the Ferrari F12 Speciale or even the Ferrari F12 GTO, as its predecessor, the 599 GTO. Rumor has it that this will be dropping a massive 200 kg from its total weight, compared to the F12 Berlinetta, and this means improved performance. Chances are this will become even more powerful and faster than one of its main rivals, the Lamborghini Aventador Super Veloce. The 6.3 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine will be maintained under its hood and this is believed to get approximately 760 HP, sent to the rear wheels. Chances are Ferrari will be introducing this supercar at the 2016 NAIAS, in Detroit, next January, or two months later, at the Geneva Motor Show.
