The first video with the brand new Ferrari F12tdf has been released by the Italian based automaker.
It’s been just a few days since Ferrari has decided to pull the wraps off the brand new F12tdf and now the supercar is ending up in our news once more, this time with the help of its first ever video released. However, don’t expect any fast driving footage, any drifting or engine revving because this isn’t really a promo and it is focusing on how the V12 engine works.
The Ferrari F12tdf is nothing more than a hot special edition of the F12 Berlinetta. The supercar has received an upgraded body, which is not only making it look more menacing but it is also improving its aerodynamic efficiency. Notice the sharp front splitter, the rear spoiler which is 60 mm longer and 30 mm higher than before, the slats in the rear haunches, its wider stance, lowered suspension and the 20-inch wheels.
Ferrari says that compared to the F12 Berlinetta, the new F12tdf is 110 kg lighter, standing in at a total of 1,415 kg. Add an upgraded 6.3 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine under its hood and you have a recipe of success. In the standard supercar, the unit is producing 719 HP (529 kW) and 689 Nm (508 lb-ft) but in this case, it has been upgraded to 770 HP (566 kW) and 705 Nm (520 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 2.9 seconds and top speed is 340 km/h (211 mph).
