Another review with the Ferrari LaFerrari has hit the web recently and it is being signed by MotorTrend.
The guys from MotorTrend have been invited by Ferrari to Maranello where the impressive LaFerrari was waiting for them. This isn’t your ordinary review because the carmaker has allowed MT to take the hypercar onto the track and perform some speed tests which included the 0 to 60 mph time and the quarter mile so if you want to see how it performed in all of these, you should scroll down and click the play button.
The Ferrari LaFerrari is the spiritual successor of the iconic Enzo. This is also the first hybrid to ever come out of Maranello and the most powerful road-legal supercar ever to be created by Ferrari. The vehicle has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it has some serious competition in the shape of the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.
The hypercar is using a 6.3 liter V12 engine with 789 HP (588 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, along with an electric motor, rated at 161 HP (120 kW). The total output produced stands at 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, connected to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. This needs less than 3 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go all the way up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
