CAR Magazine has recently put together two of the best supercars money can buy these days, the Ferrari LaFerrari and its British rival, the McLaren P1.
Two of the best supercars available for order nowadays, the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1, have been recently put together by the automotive journalists from CAR Magazine. The two vehicles are being driven by Ben Barry and Chris Chilton and the two of them are chasing each other on narrow twisty roads while giving feedback on the rides.
The Ferrari LaFerrari has a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood, with 789 HP and 700 Nm of torque, backed up by an electric motor with 161 HP. The total output produced stands at 950 HP and 900 Nm of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The McLaren P1 has a smaller 3.8 liter V8, along with an electric motor, and the total output produce by this assembly is 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. Both supercars can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in less than 3 seconds and both have a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
