Top Gear Magazine has recently placed the hottest supercars money can buy these days against each other.
The Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder are returning in an impressive video which has been put together recently by the guys from the Top Gear Magazine. The clip pictured below is not actually a review, which has been reserved for the magazine, but it does include some impressive footage with the three hybrid supercars in action. The Ferrari LaFerrari is the most powerful of the 3. It packs a 6.3 liter V12 engine under its hood and an electric motor, producing a total output of 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. This has a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, sending power to the wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch automated transmission.
The McLaren P1 is also getting the same rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, being powered by a modified 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine and an electric, with 904 HP and 978 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. Last but not least, the Porsche 918 Spyder is the only one of the three to get an all-wheel drive layout. This packs in a 4.6 liter V8 engine and two electric motors, producing a total of 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque. The LaFerrari is produced in 499 units, the P1 in 375 and the Porsche in 918 units.
