Ferrari has recently released a new video with the LaFerrari in which the engine sound of the newest supercar in the company’s lineup can be heard.
The Ferrari LaFerrari has been officially presented to the public a few weeks ago, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere. The model was previously known as the F70 / F150 and it’s weighing 1,255 kg (2,766 lbs), distributed 41 / 50 percent front to rear. The LaFerrari is 4,702 mm long, 1,992 mm wide and 1,116 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,665 mm.
Power to the Power to the Ferrari LaFerrari is being provided by a 6,262cc V12 engine, producing 800 HP (588 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, mated to an electric motor, with 163 HP (120 kW) and 270 Nm of torque (199 lb-ft). The total output stands at 963 HP (708 kW) and it’s enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). If stopping is what concerns you, you should know that the LaFerrari has carbon ceramic discs signed by Brembo. The LaFerrari will be produced in just 499 units and each one will cost 1,3 million euros.
