The one-off Ferrari SP12 EC, which was specially made for Eric Clapton, has been recently spotted in London, where the model attracted a lot of curious eyes.
After it was officially introduced more than a year ago, and then brought to the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the impressive Ferrari SP12 EC is entering our news once again, this time with the model being spotted in London. We’re not sure that Eric Clapton was the person behind the wheel and it’s not really important because you know you’ve made it in life when Ferrari agrees to create a one-off supercar for you.
The Ferrari SP12 EC has been designed by Centro Stile Ferrari, in collaboration with Pininfarina and Maranello engineers. The model in question has been inspired by the 512 Berlinetta Boxer and it wants to be a modern version of the classic supercar, which is based on the 458 Italia. Power is being provided by the 4.5 liter V8 engine, which is good for 570 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm of torque (398 lb-ft), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in less than 3.4 seconds, and a top speed of 326 km/h (202 mph). The price of the supercar stands at 3 million GBP.
