[VIDEO] Fiat 500 Café Racer was teased for SEMA image

The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently released the first teaser with the new 500 Café Racer, ahead of the model’s official debut at the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas.

The Fiat 500 is probably one of the most advertised vehicles recently and after getting numerous limited and special editions, the car manufacturer is placing the model into the spotlights once again, this time by announcing a so-called 500 Café Racer for the 2012 SEMA Motor Show in Las Vegas, which should make its public debut later on this week.

The video posted below and released by the automaker isn’t revealing anything important on the Fiat 500 Café Racer but Nick Melachowski, the exterior designer, says he draws inspiration from the early motorcycle owners who used to strip off parts in order to improve performance and save weight so, judging by this, we can dare to say that the model in question will probably get a roof for when it’s raining and four wheels for faster movement, with almost everything else being completely dropped. Losing some weight and technology on the way won’t be cheap but we don’t know anything about its price just yet, or if Fiat will put it into production.
