The Italian based automaker Fiat has recently released a promotional video where the new 500L is being filmed from almost any angle, right ahead of its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on the 6th of March.
The Fiat 500L MPV is almost here and the inautonews.com team has provided you with the first images of the camouflaged version in a world premiere earlier this year, the model is getting close to be officially presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show. Even if the Fiat 500L has now gotten an official video too, more details on the model are currently being limited.
As a reminder, the Fiat 500L is 4,140 mm long, 1,780 mm wide and 1,660 mm tall, and the MPV will get some engine choices like the new 0.9 TwinAir, the 1.4 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and the 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel unit. Besides these powerplants, the Fiat 500L will also get an eco-Drive version, which is expected to cut down fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, but there aren’t any official details on this version’s performance yet.
The Fiat 500L will be made on the company’s Small U.S. Wide (SUSW) platform, which will also underpin models like the compact Jeep crossover in the United States, and it will provide replacements for the Fiat Punto and Fiat Palio. The Fiat 500L will be launched in Europe later this year and in the United States in early 2013. More details on the model will be announced on the 6th of March, at the Geneva Motor Show.
