The very first commercial video with the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has aired on TV and it’s showing the iconic sports car in black and white on a track.
After seeing the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for the first time in January 2013, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, and with the first unit finding a new owner for a whopping 1.1 million USD during a Barrett-Jackson auction, time has come to welcome the model into our homes, through our TV sets. As a quick reminder, the brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette i s powered by the LT1 6.2 liter V8 engine, coming with CVVT and direct injection and producing a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). This is enough to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. The convertible version of the Corvette will be unveiled next month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Hyundai will invest £4.7 million to build a new R&D center at the Nurburgring.
Hyundai, besides other automakers, will use the track to test durability on all its new vehicles. Each new Hyundai model will be tested on 180,000 km, including 10,000 km or 480 laps to be done on the Nürburgring. ...
