We’re pretty used to seeing exotic supercars crash – just mix lots of power and drivers that have the money but not the skills to own such vehicles – but here’s a different type of exotic crash.
This one this time involves a model that should pretty much be able to survive the Apocalypse alongside the cockroaches – the Brabus G63 AMG 6×6. The very exotic model has been involved in an accident in the land of crashes – Russia, somewhere around Moscow. Unfortunately the dashcam footage only shows the aftermath of the accident – and so we still don’t have the complete picture or the answer to the dying question – what caused a six-wheeled, 8,487-pound monster to top over. Well, somehow the driver – with or without external help – managed to crash and put the side up of the Brabus-doctored G63 AMG 6×6 – maybe because of the slippery surface Moscow is well known for during the winter and associated with excessive speed the owner tried to avoid the car in front and somehow managed to land the vehicle on one side.
Since we’re dealing with a very rare and over the top vehicle, the damage doesn’t look very severe and as such we imagine the world will live to see it bite the asphalt another day. As a reminder, this Brabus-tuned version has no less than 700 ponies under the hood thanks to the modified biturbo 5.5-liter V8 engine that also comes with a hefty torque: 708 pound-feet (960 newton meters). That’s still enough to handle the 0-62 miles per hour (0-100 kilometers per hour) sprint in just 7.4 seconds and reach an electronically-controlled top speed of 100 mph (160 km/h).
