The first unit of the impressive Ferrari LaFerrari has been recently spotted out in India, cruising the streets at night.
If you thought that exclusivity has its price, especially in some parts of Asia where vehicles tend to be extremely expensive due to high taxes, you are right, because owning a model such as the Ferrari LaFerrari on the Old Continent and owning one in India can turn out to be quite different, financially speaking. The clip posted below is showing us the first every unit of the LaFerrari to arrive on the Indian sub-continent and despite being short and filmed with a low quality camera, it couldn’t go by unseen.
The Ferrari LaFerrari probably needs no introduction, just like its two main rivals, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder. This is the carmaker’s first hybrid supercar and it was first shown last year, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in its final production form. It packs a 6.3 liter V12 engine backed up by an electric motor, producing a total of 950 HP (708 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes less than 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
