Ford Australia has released the first teaser video with the upcoming Falcon XR8 which will be officially unveiled over the following weeks.
After releasing the first three teaser images with the updated Ford Falcon, in which we could have seen its headlight, its taillight and its XR8 badge, the model in question is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of the first ever teaser video, which is showing us much more than we could have been expecting. Keep in mind that this will actually be the last Ford Falcon ever produced as the carmaker will withdraw from the country by 2016 and close its local facilities.
The new Ford Falcon XR8 will be actually a facelifted version of the model which will be bringing some modest changes made to its front fascia and to its rear end and these changes will include an updated front grille, some XR badged headlights, a revised hood scoop, a sports exhaust system, beefier brakes and new black alloy wheels. The 2015 Ford Falcon XR8 will be getting rear-wheel drive exclusively and chances are it will be powered by the same 5.0 ltier V8 supercharged engine, rated at 477 HP (351 kW).
