The impressive Ford Focus RS is still being tested out on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, as the video posted below stands proof.
Despite being officially unveiled at the beginning of this year, we still don’t know everything there is to know about it and it seems that there might be a good reason for this as the vehicle is currently under development. We’re talking about the new Ford Focus RS which is still being kept into the shadows by the car manufacturer. However, if seeing it driven fast on the track was what you were looking for, than you have come to the right place, but don’t forget to plug in your headphones first in order to hear that 2.3L EcoBoost engine roar.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS is the newest hot hatch in the company’s lineup. The model has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, and it has also made its North American debut, being brough to the 2015 New York Auto Show. The impressive ride is getting the aggressive body kit, which is making it easily distinguishable from the Focus ST thanks to the new fron and rear bumpers, to the updated side skirts and the large rear wing. The model is also bringing the stiffer sports suspension system, along with electric power steering and 19-inch alloy wheels equipped with 235/35 tires. The same 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine from the mid-range Mustang is found under its hood but its exact output is not known at this time. However, we do know that the model is offering four-wheel drive in a premiere.
