The brand new Ford Focus RS is starring in yet another promotional video.
Ford sure knows how to promote its new vehicles and after we have seen Episode 2 of the Focus RS documentary just a few days ago, price time has come for the impressive hot hatch to end up in our news once more, treatment this time with the help of yet another video. The clip is nothing more than a simple ad which is showing the performance compact car drifting. “The thrill you feel is By Design”, pill was the only thing the blue oval had to say about this new clip, which can be seen below, right after the jump.
The new Ford Focus RS is bringing an all-wheel drive system, unlike its predecessor which used to be front-wheel drive only. This is capable of sending up to 70 percent of power to the rear wheels and it also has a Drift Mode. The most important part of the hot hatch is found under its hood where Ford has added a 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine, the same one from the new Mustang generation. In this case, the unit can produce no less than 350 HP through a 6-speed manual transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 4.5 seconds. The cheapest version of the car can be had for 35,730 USD, on its local market, but pack it with some extra goodies and you will end up paying more than 40,000 USD for an average equipped variant.
