The brand new Ford Focus RS has been caught on camera while being tested out, where else, than the Nurburgring.
After being officially unveiled just a few months back, the brand new Ford Focus RS is getting ready for its future customers, but not before “the blue oval” will be making the last tweaks to it. An example of the high-performance compact car has been caught on camera recently while it was being tested out on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, and it is looking pretty good out there. You can see it slightly slide its rear end at one time which suggests that the carmaker hasn’t dropped the four-wheel drive from it.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and it also made its over-seas debut, at the New York automotive event. The model has an aggressive body kit with a new front and rear bumper and the 19-inch alloy wheels, with their 235/35 tires equipping them, and the dual exhaust pipes contributing to its looks. Stiffer sports suspension system and the electric power assisted steering can also be found on the hot hatch, along with the 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine which is also used on the Mustang. It remains unknown at this time exactly how much power this has but it will be able to go up against models such as the Golf R, the RS3, the M135i or the A45 AMG amongst others.
