A new promotional video with the recently unveiled Ford Focus RS is showing the American hot hatch tearing up a mountain road.
After it has been officially unveiled a month ago, over the web, and after making its public debut just a week ago, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the brand new Ford Focus RS is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of a new promotional video. The clip posted below is showing the American hot hatch going fast around a mountain road but before clicking the play button, you may want to plug in your headphones and turn the volume up.
The 2016 Ford Focus RS is one of the most awaited hot hatches of the year, and not only, along with the Honda Civic Type-R, one of its main rivals. The model is wearing the same blue paint as its larger and more expensive brother, the GT supercar, and it is getting an appealing styling, with a new body kit, 19-inch alloy wheels with Michelin 235/35 tires, exhaust system with dual pipes, bespoke instrument graphics in the cabin, 10-speaker Sony sound system, alloy pedals, Recaro seats and the SYNC, amongst others. Power to the vehicle is coming from the same engine found under the hood of the mid-range Mustang, the 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost, which is producing more than 315 HP (235 kW). No performance figures have been announced at this time.
