Another prototype of the new Ford GT supercar has been spotted driving on the road.
Ford may have officially unveiled the new generation of the GT but the supercar is not quite ready for the production line just yet so spy shots and videos with various prototypes being tested on the road will continue to end up on the web until the blue oval will finally decide to put it into production. The clip posted below is showing a prototype of the Detroit-born exotic ride, wearing some mild camouflage on its body which is making it look like a vehicle from the new Mad Max movie. Even so, it is worth taking a look at the clip posted below.
As you probably already know by now, the new generation of the Ford GT has been officially unveiled earlier this year and it has also made its European premiere, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The supercar is ready to take on some of its main rivals, coming from Ferrari, McLaren or Lamborghini, but before it will be hitting the assembly line, the carmaker has to make sure that everything is in its right place and working just like it should. The new Ford GT will be put into production in 2016 and it will come as a 2017 model year, with a mid-mounted V6 turbocharged engine, said to produce as much as 700 HP. Power will be sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
