What do the Pope and the new Ford GT supercar have in common? Well, nothing, except they’re both flashy and they both enjoy travelling surrounded by glass.
Ford is continuing to promote its new GT as the supercar is starring a new video. The clip posted below is showing the exotic model traveling through London as a diecast vehicle and it definitely attracted a lot of bystanders, photographing and filming it. The blue oval has definitely gathered a lot of positive reactions with this marketing scheme and it is making sure that everyone knows what the new GT is before putting it into production.
The new generation of the Ford GT has been on the Old Continent ever since it was unveiled in March, during the 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. The supercar will be coming as a 2017 model year, meaning that you should expect it in 2016. It has an evolutionary design, a lot of new technologies, revised lighting units, new graphics and so on. Under its hood, we can find a mid-mounted V6 turbocharged engine, which is expected to produce more than 600 HP, or even 700 HP as some reports are indicating, because the blue oval is currently keeping these figures a secret at the moment. Power is being sent to the wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Additional details on the newest supercar born in Detroit are limited at this point and will be announced soon.
