The guys from Auto Express have recently went for a spin in the European-spec Ford Mustang.
If you are living on the Old Continent and looking into the new generation of the Ford Mustang, than you have come to the right place as the model in question has been recently reviewed by the guys at Auto Express. The test drive is rather enthusiastic but it is a good way of finding out what the muscle car is really about, especially since we are talking about the one equipped with the 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine.
The European version of the Ford Mustang has been introduced at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, a couple of weeks ago, and it is being offered with the new SYNC 2 infotainment system, along with an 8-inch color touch screen. Power is being provided by the controversial 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, with direct injection, turbocharging and variable cam timing, which is capable of producing no less than 314 HP and 434 Nm of torque, more than the U.S. version’s 305 HP and 406 Nm of torque. The 5.0 liter V8 is also available, with its 418 HP and 524 Nm.
