The North American based automaker Ford has recently announced its plans to introduce the Mustang in Europe in the nearby future.
According to the car manufacturer, the Ford Mustang will cross the Atlantic Ocean and it will be offered on the Old Continent through the company’s dealership network but, even if the muscle car’s debut in Europe has been officially announced, the car manufacturer didn’t go into specifics and this probably means that Europeans will have to wait until 2014, when the new generation of the Mustang will hit the market.
“What has made Mustang such a sensation in the United States for nearly 50 years will soon be enjoyed by customers in Europe”, said the Ford CEO Allan Mulally at the company’s “Go Further” even in Amsterdam.
The new generation of the Ford Mustang is expected to be released in 2014, as a 2015 model year. The model is rumored to be based on the Ford Evos concept car but there is no official word on this subject for the moment. Other rumors are saying that the future generation of the Mustang will probably share the same platform with the Fusion / Mondeo but there is no official word on this either so we will better wait until the automaker will finally reveal the future generation of the muscle car.
