Have you ever seen European truck racing – if not, get from under that rock you live and hit YouTube for some spectacular 1,000 HP vehicle shenanigans. You won’t regret it.
And now that you’ve got the taste for it, we can tell you that European truck racing is finally hitting the virtual world – after all, it’s one of the most spectacular series in motorsport. While European trucks lack the front half end of their American cousins they’re still huge and cumbersome. But go for the racign counterparts and you’ll rapidly get they’ve been bred for racing. And they have more than 1,000 horsepower – and they always look ready to tip the front when braking or going head to head in a hairpin turn. Now you can experience them for yourself – the #24 tankpool24 Racing Mercedes Antos used by Markus Bauer during the European Truck Racing Championship is available in the latest update package for Forza 6.
This beast of a truck tips the scales at more than 12,000 pounds, but it has some 1,080 horsepower to make sure the mass is not an issue. Watch the trailer above to understand why the European racing trucks are so spectacular – little of the weight is on the rear axle, so they can go about drifting as if they are some Japanese special machine. In the Turn 10 Select pack there are others to look forward to: unique Emil Frey Jaguar XK GT3 from the Blancpain Endurance Cup; the #4 ROAL Motorsport Chevrolet Cruze TC1 from the World Touring Car Championship; the 1969 Brawner Ford Hawker III; the McLaren 570S; a 1980 Fiat 124 Sport Spider, and even a 1957 BMW Isetta 300 Export.
