Forza Motorsport 7 will become available on Xbox One and PC starting October 3 – but you can always shell out $100 for the Ultimate Edition and get the 700-vehicle strong virtual garage on September 29.
If you need to grasp the handle of some of the cars, you can always try the readily available demo – or you could just entice yourself to this virtual car bonanza via the new launch trailer that treats us to a glimpse of what’s going on in the latest installment of this fan-loved racing franchise. The demo, for example, lets you handle the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS, which isn’t even in showrooms yet, on the Jebel Hafeet Pass in the United Arab Emirates. Or you could try something slightly different in the Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck on Italy’s Mugello circuit. The classic is represented by the Nissan Nismo GT-R LM prototype for a “stroll” down the Nürburgring Grand Prix.
Forza Motorsport 7 has more than 700 vehicles, with more than 30 race tracks, including real ones such as the Brands Hatch, Circuit of the Americas, Suzuka, and of course the Nürburgring. No less than 15 hosts do voice over – from IndyCar Champion Josef Newgarden, Ken Block, Magnus Walker to IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship driver Katherine Legge, or FCA Chief Designer Ralph Gilles.
