The Japanese based automaker Mazda has released a second teaser video with the future generation of the Mazda6.
After entering our news a couple of days ago with a first teaser video, pharm the future generation of the Mazda6 is being placed into the spotlights one more time, with the company releasing a second teaser with the model, revealing the front fender line. The car manufacturer is saying that the new generation of the Mazda6 will get the new SkyActiv engines and transmissions, which will help reduce CO2 emissions and improve the fuel consumption by 30 percent. The model will also get an interpretation of the Kodo design language.
The next generation of the Mazda6 will be based on the Takeri concept, the same one which made its official debut in late 2011, during the 42nd edition of the Tokyo Motor Show. The Mazda Takeri has been described with words like the “regenerative braking system” or “SkyActiv” technology, but rather than going through all that again, we should better focus on the next Mazda6 generation, which should hit the market in the nearby future. The new Mazda6 might be officially presented to the public during the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September, but there is no official word on this yet from the carmaker.
