Since we’re heading towards the autumn season, when all gamers reap what they saw during years of tireless practice, Codemasters has come up with the year’s edition of the F1 game – thought to be the most immersive ever.
This is the official video game of the FIA Formula One World Championship, so everything you see on TV or live at the track has the virtual correspondent in the game – meaning you can also get lost in the wilderness of the rules. Anyhow, if you’re willing to lose all your social skills, there’s also a new for 2016 extended career mode that will last up to ten seasons. New from the 2015 edition is also the implementation of a safety car and virtual safety car – but by peering through the trailer we’re kinda’ worried about the graphics advancements. Fortunately, the F1 2016 edition does come with new stuff to spice up things in front of the computer or console. There’s a time of day selector and the option to go for manual race starts and manual pit lane entry to be as close to the real thing as possible.
Codemasters has even added the formation lap in which you’ll have the chance to warm up your tires in bid to achieve the best start possible. The F1 2016 also has newcomer Haas F1 Team for the full roster of 22 drivers and 11 teams, as well as the brand new Baku circuit in Azerbaijan – with a complete 21-track calendar.
